The Asbestos materials are highly used in the ships. Those substances are very much used in the ship engines and they are kept in boiler rooms and they are also stored for heat safety purposes. Previously, in the 19th century it was widely used for other purposes like sleeping rooms, dining halls etc. The people in the ship will be easily exposed to these harmful materials since most of the time, they will be surrounding in those places that contains the asbestos substances. People who are sailing often are in high risk. However, the army people are mostly in danger since most of the time spent during war will be in ship and whatever, they do in the ship they will be surrounded with the asbestos particles. Even most of the pipe tubes will be made with the asbestos materials. Hence, exposing to these substances would be high and the people are in high risk to be affected with the cancer.
